One but Not the Same

Sitting and sweating profusely in front of an electric fan in a small room at midday  is not the best choice to help inspire myself to start my writing today. Yet, going out to sit in the park nearby could be worse for now the temperature here in Bangkok is 40 degrees Celsius more or less. Breeze may come and move some ready-to-fall tiny leaves but far from alleviating the suffocating hot air and striking sunlight. My inspiration might come at last except later than my faintness due to overheating and dehydrating.  So, I just carry on my mission, trying to get my mind be still enough and make it work out for one not-so-boring topic.  And it, eventually, arrives.
Have you ever experienced yourself on being mistaken by others while you had no ideas what made they misunderstand your words?  I am sure I would not be the only one who had such experience.  Let's see some, for example, Get a light.   This can lead you to get either a flashlight or a slap, for the worst scenario I mean. ^^ Another example is "Great".  If  you appreciatively talk to a host who offers you a cup of hot tea when you just escape from cold, rainy night outside, you is most likely to get a flash of welcoming smile back and more of nice tea. Under the same situation, you say it but with your ungrateful voice and probably annoying look, count yourself lucky if your first cup of tea is not taken back or served directly to your face.
According to the two examples, one word could send different messages that could be translated into different meanings.  They depend on situations, tones, expressions, among others.
Such confusions do not appear just in English, which is not my mother-tongue, but also in other languages including my Thai langue. Even a native speaker can often misunderstand and misinterpret the messages he or she receives too.
However, don't be so cautious that you dare not to use the words you prefer or are very picky on your word use. That could make you sound boring or fake rather than natural and unique. Just be aware and optimally careful that one can be but not always the same. ❤☺☺☺

One day under the sunlight in Bangkok

It is now summer season in Thailand.


Summer is hot and in the city of Bangkok it is extremely hot during the day.
April is long known for the hottest period of the year here.
Yet I could not stay in the shade all day for life is moving and working is a must for working people, including me.
Yesterday I spent one thirds of my day time under the mad sunlight since I had to go to three different places,  Walking outside on the streets was also inevitable part of the activities.  At the end of the day, thank god, I was saved by cool air from  the air conditioners in the building I worked. Later, I stepped outside into the cooler night air, heading home.

Today I am going to face the similar experience, and just pray for my survival from the hot air in Bangkok another day.

Let's say I am hungry but too lazy to cook at the moment.  These homemade dishes pictures that were taken recently over the past few weeks from my own kitchen seem killing me best. ^^ So, sharing these to my audiences could be a good way to see some may feel the same-- hungry.  Please enjoy.

Hellooo

It's been almost a year since I was away from my blog.  No blame on anyone or anything but me and myself. Yes, work came first on my mind and then my laziness that seems increasing over the past days. Anyhow, no excuse. I  am busy plus lazy. That's all.
Still, writing is always beckoning me. I guess writing 's part of my body and soul even though I kick it away occasionally. My away-from-this blog doesn't mean I am away from writing. I actually have spent time busily writing, translating and teaching somewhere else. Right, writing is always in my schedule. Now you know how I have been doing when away from my page here.
All right. Just re-introduce and relax myself.  The year 2016 is soon leaving us and some may start counting down already. No need to be in such a hurry.  We have one month to go and I am thinking of several things to share with you my readers.
 
But now just remind you> Gigi is back!

PS . Did I tell you that I 've got a new baby and she is so adorable. I named her Miss Garlic or Kratiam in Thai language. I bet you gonna love her like I do.

Good & Bad: Do you wonder why some people are good or very good while others so bad?

 Do you wonder why some people are good or very good while others bad or very bad?  What makes people living in the same society and under the same laws choose the opposite directions of actions, either good or bad? How come many easily see and are able to differentiate the meanings of decent and indecent actions while others hardly or never, despite all information and knowledge they are equipped?  

Education is what most people probably think of as the most influence. Still, we already see or experience ourselves that quite often many bad or evil-minded people are highly educated and full of knowledge. That's ironic, isn't it? They are supposed to be the ones who do all the good deeds and lead others to follow their decent actions. Then, what's wrong with them or what has gone wrong ?

Thailand is moving foward and in good progress after a decade of deterioration under the corrupt and inefficient governments.

Thanks to many great efforts of the current government led by Prime Minister General Prayooth Chanocha who dares to bring a garagatuan change to rescue Thailand and Thai people who have relentlessly fought against corrupt politicians, corrupt authorities and greedy business people along with their supporters in every circle of the society for several years. Since May 22, 2014, I, like other people in Thailand, have witnessed and experienced a lot of changes and positive transformation that the current government continuously tried to restore Thai society to its peace and harmony after the society had been divided with hatred and misunderstanding poinsoned and magnified especially by the corrupt government politicians and authorities.  Just a year Thailand has been pulling back and stabilizing shortly after it nearly fell in pieces.  

Although the military-led government has displayed its intention and efforts  through its hard work, it has received stones rather than flowers from some people particularly those who had benefited  from the prior corrupt policies whose outcomes caused a lot of huge losses to the country, in financial, economic, political, social and security aspects. Worse, several foreign media mispercieved and/or misundertood the Thai government, either by their naivety on Thailand and its society or by their intention due to the benefit they might gain from their job, and misreported or even denounced the Thai government as dictatorship.  They accused the military-led government of hindering Thailand 's democracy while overruling human rights and freedom of expression of people in Thailand.  That's obviously ridiculous because it's not what most Thai people see and feel about our government and our rights currently.
